Doctors-in-Training (DIT)

The issues facing Doctors-in-Training are often unique. Recognising this, the Federal AMA has a Council for Doctors-in-Training, which is made up of representatives from each state and territory.

Here in the Northern Territory we currently have one nominated Doctors-in-Training Representative, Dr David Chapman. Dr Chapman at Royal Darwin Hospital and is passionate about training and is very approachable.

If you are a DIT, and you have an issue you would like discussed at either Territory or Federal level, please feel free to call Dr Chapman at Royal Darwin Hospital on 8922 8888 or email dechapman52@yahoo.com.au

The AMANT Council, of which Dr Chapman is a member, meets the second Wednesday of every second month. The Federal AMA Council of Doctors-in-Training meet regularly via teleconference and face-to-face twice yearly.
